Based in North Miami, FL, Rami Shmuely began preparing for his career as an attorney as a student at Northeastern Illinois University, where he received a bachelor of arts in criminal justice and was a member of a group that conducted a human rights study in Central America. During this time, Rami Shmuely also studied in Tel Aviv, Israel.
He went on to earn a juris doctor from the St. Thomas School of Law, during which time he served as a member of the American Bar Association/Law Student Division as well as the Jewish Law Student Association and other organizations related to his chosen career. After graduating, he worked as an associate with Coleman & Associates in Boca Raton, Florida. Later, he handled insurance defense cases as an attorney with the Fort Lauderdale-based Allen Kopet & Associates before serving as a plaintiff personal injury attorney with Bernheim & Dolinsky.
Today, Mr. Shmuely works with Chavin Mitchell Shmuely P.A., a firm in North Miami, FL, which handles cases involving matters of consumer protection, personal injury, and residential and commercial insurance claims. When not assisting clients at the firm, he enjoys coaching little league teams in his area as well as weightlifting, playing basketball, and running.
